<strong>***** There are no location or schedule changes for Saturday. *****</strong></p>
<p>If you are coming to PodCamp DC with friends or colleagues, please be sure to tell them about this important location change update!</p>
<p>2. The easiest way to get around DC is the Metro Subway system. All of the Podcamp events are a quick walk to the one of the stops on the Metro System.  For maps, directions using the Metro System, visit the Metro website at <a href="http://www.wmata.com/">http://www.wmata.com/</a></p>
<p>3. If you <strong>MUST </strong>drive (highly recommend you utilize the Metro system), there is free parking at the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre on Saturday.  There are limited places to park near Capitol City Brewery and Sine` Irish Pub. Please make sure to plan accordingly.</p>

<li><strong>Power You might want to bring a power strip,</strong> and be willing to share. We will have access to power outlets, but they aren’t unlimited. As a result, a power strip would help you and your friends have power to your cell phones, computers and other gear you might have in tow. Extra batteries for your gear is always a good idea as well.</li>
<li><strong>Your laptop. </strong> Some people like to live blog at events, and we think this is great. Keep in mind that while wi-fi is available in certain areas at AIW, with this many people hopping on at once, access may be a bit slower than optimum. Keep this in mind, and consider maybe waiting to upload large files until the end of the day.</li>
<li><strong>Just a Notebook</strong>- Sometimes, taking notes with a pen and paper works just as well as dragging all your gear around, not to mention less distractions!</li>
<li><strong>Business cards-</strong> You’re going to meet a lot of people at Podcamp, and you’re likely going to want to continue those conversations after the event. Bring a bunch of business cards or simple cards with your name and contact information on it. The most important thing is to exchange contact information easily with the really great people you’re going to meet.</li>
<li><strong>Comfortable shoes and dress-</strong> If you haven’t been to a <em>Unconference</em>  before, this is a very relaxed environment , and you’ll see pretty few people dressed in suits or business attire. Just be yourself , and you’ll probably feel more comfortable if you dress casually.</li>
<li><strong>A quick word about Food and Drink</strong>- We will have access to AIW&#8217;s student lounge during the day as well as lunch being served. (thank to one of our sponsors, <a href="http://www.networksolutions.com" target="_blank">Network Solutions</a>)</li>
</ul>
<p>All of us on the organizing team(Tammy, Joel &amp; Ernie) want you to come to PodcampDC and feel completely comfortable. Don’t be afraid to start talking to someone while in a session,  waiting to register, or hanging out at the networking party. New Media folks are easy-going and really laid back  so don’t be afraid to introduce yourself and start talking!</p>
